Our Pet Cause

Most companies have a favorite charity or cause they are aligned with. Here at Dutchess Overhead Doors, we’re happy to be affiliated with a great local resource — Lost Pets of the Hudson Valley. If you don’t know about Lost Pets already, please read on.

Founded two summers ago by local animal lover Bentley Potter, the site uses social media to help spread the word about a missing pet and then reunite it with its family. Countless animals have been found and returned safe and sound thanks to the page. It doesn’t take much to help at all. You can head to the organization’s Facebook page and like and follow. Or scan the website periodically and keep an eye out for a four-legged friend.

We’re proud of the work Lost Pets is doing and, in a sign of support, have our logo up on their site. We share their posts and keep a lookout. Recently we got to experience firsthand just how wonderful the Lost Pets site is. One of our good friends helped her neighbor find her missing dog. Guess where she spotted him?
