Reuse & Recycle- The Pallet Edition

Are you addicted to Pinterest?  If so, we can relate. There’s just something about eyeballing crafty projects and clever ideas… and there are so many good ones out there! We often find ourselves creating boards filled with future projects and dreaming up which ones we’ll take on first… and second… and third.

Our latest obsession is recycling pallets. At Dutchess Overhead Doors, we see more of them than we can count, thanks to daily deliveries of LiftMaster Electric Operators, garage door springs and yes, even the doors themselves. This spring (thanks to all of this Pinterest browsing!), we’re going to put them to good use in our gardens.  Let the pallet projects begin!

Imagine stepping out on the front porch before dinner and grabbing some fresh herbs out of your pallet garden. You can even recycle pallets if you’re an urbanite. The pallet can be situated on the ground or terrace and be used to sort containers — perfect for those who lack the space to pull off an in-ground garden.
